About Mapworks

Mapworks is a map shop in Melbourne Australia, which stocks a large range of maps and map accessories.

This range includes: globes, travel guides, atlases, compases, G.P.S. equipment, Godfrey Editions, Ordnance Survey maps, 4WD maps, topographic maps, walking maps, touring maps, antique and reproduction maps, maps to aid genealogy, maps for education and maps for decoration.

Mapworks commenced trading in February 1992 in a small shop in Ascot Vale, Melbourne. The joint owners Ian and Marie Morden have had an interest in both antique maps and family history for many years.

Initially stocks were reprints of early editions of large scale maps of U.K. and decorative old maps. This range has grown far beyond the original plans, meeting the regional demand for all kinds of mapping and travel guides.

Now located in larger premises on Keilor Road, North Essendon, the uniqueness of the range and the enthusiasm of the owners has made it known throughout Australia.
